Atsushi Taniguchi started his carrier by opening his first shop Jardin du I’llony in Japan in 2002 with the goal of making people embrace the richness of life with the help of their favorite florist. Taniguchi started taking pictures of flowers and gradually widened his field by providing his photos and flower arrangements to companies for use as promotional materials for their merchandising and advertisements. To express his style and to present his work, Taniguchi self-published a series of photography books called FLOWBULOUS, which sold more than 30,000 copies in Japan. Taniguchi’s works have been recognized by iconic luxury brand names and he has done numerous flower arrangements for their stores and events, along with designing floral gifts for their customers. This photography book features Taniguchi’s bouquet works. All the photos were taken in Paris. You can feel the beauty of the four seasons in Paris from the 150 photos included in this beautiful collections. About the contributor(s):

Owner of "jardin du I'llony" with flower shops in Paris, Ashiya (Kobe) and Minami-Aoyama (Tokyo). A self-trained florist, Taniguchi designs arrangements based on his exceptional concept of the balance of nature and the allure of flowers. Recognized by many brand names, he creates floral displays for store interiors and special events. In 2015, Taniguchi was the Japanese florist to set up a branch in Paris. His many achievements include floral designs for the noted 5-star LES BAINS PARIS Hotel which was renovated from the legendary but defunct nightclub, and floral decorations for the Bal de L'Ete, the famed summertime gala conceived by Princess Catherine Colonna de Stigliano under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
